The AsiaWorld-Expo is located at the N-E side of the HK International Airport. It comprises of more than 100,000sq.m. of exhibition space, an auditorium with capacity of 12,000 seats, conference centres, offices and restaurants, etc. There is also a direct connection to the MTR AWE Station.

This complex is designed as a public composite building housing library, indoor
swimming pools, leisure centre and recreation centre. It also serves to
accommodate the existing temporary bazaars and cooked food centre in the
district into an orderly market with better facilities.
